Dr. Pampita Chakraborty is a visionary and trailblazer in the field of microbiology, holding a Doctorate from IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. A former research scientist and academician, her groundbreaking work in Type 1 Diabetes in children and infectious diseases has earned her global recognition, including presentations at prestigious international platforms. Certified in Diabetes Research by the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), her commitment to healthcare innovation is unwavering.
In 2022, Dr. Chakraborty made the momentous decision to leave her illustrious academic career and step into the world of entrepreneurship by founding Oreka Diagnostics in her hometown of Malda, West Bengal, from scratch, without any external backing.
