At Oreka Diagnostics, we believe that healthcare should adapt to every stage of life, especially the later years when attentive, compassionate care becomes even more essential. In a heartfelt effort to give back to our community, we proudly organised a dedicated Geriatric Wellness Clinic in Malda, focusing solely on the health and well-being of our senior citizens.
This unique clinic welcomed elderly participants from all walks of life including retired bankers, teachers, professionals, and homemakers, uniting them to prioritise their health. The event featured free health screenings, including vision checks and eye screening, along with one-on-one counselling on healthy eating, lifestyle, and age-appropriate dietary habits.
What made this initiative truly special was its focus on active ageing and inclusion. Instead of limiting elderly care to treatment, we encouraged seniors to participate, ask questions, and take ownership of their health journey. The clinic provided a supportive environment where they felt seen, heard, and cared for.
Such geriatric-specific healthcare clinics are still a rare offering in Malda, making this initiative by Oreka Diagnostics both unique and much needed. We are proud to lead the way in promoting elderly care as a vital component of community health, not just in words, but through consistent, action-driven outreach.
