We are pleased to share that Dr. Pampita Chakraborty, Consultant Microbiologist and Director of Oreka Diagnostics, was recently invited as a guest speaker at the University of Gour Banga (UGB). She conducted a specialized academic workshop on Laboratory Biosafety and Infection Control, tailored for PhD scholars and esteemed faculty members of the university.
The workshop focused on best practices in biosafety, infection prevention, and laboratory risk management. Dr. Chakraborty—widely recognized for her groundbreaking research in microbiology and infectious diseases—delivered an engaging session that combined academic depth with real-world insights from clinical laboratory operations.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Pabitra Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of UGB; Prof. Vivekananda Mandal, Dean of the Faculty of Science; and Dr. Biswajit Das, Registrar, for their leadership and initiative in organizing this impactful event.
